Is your ideal job looking after animals, all day, everyday? Our Animal Attendants spend their day caring for animals in our shelters. Come along and find out why they love their job so much and how a career as an Animal Attendant might be perfect for you!
This day is a great introduction to working with animals and will give you an insight into what may be involved if you choose to do further study to gain a qualification in the animal care industry. Your day will include:
- Finding out about the specific roles of Animal Attendants, Adoption Officers and ambulance drivers.
- Taking a behind the scenes peek at where Animal Attendants work.
- Learning skills in animal behaviour, providing enrichment and preventative health care.
- Getting involved hands on with our resident education animals.
- Taking a behind the scenes tour of our busy animal welfare shelter.
