Husky came into our care as a stray after being found alone in a retirement village. Adopted from RSPCA Burwood by his adoring owner Lynette, the two have become inseparable companions. “He follows me everywhere. He’s a good boy, and he loves me. He loves us all very much.”
Making himself right at home since day one, Husky begins his mornings with Lynette before helping the staff with rounds, visiting every resident, then lounging around the nurse’s station. “He’s part of the whole home,” Lynette says.
A testament to the immeasurable benefits of pet ownership and keeping older pet owners together with their beloved companion animals, Bupa Aged Care Caulfield have fostered a community that values and encourages the human-animal bond.
