RSPCA Victoria is here to help people affected by the summer bushfires to care for their animals during the recovery period.

We supported the initial bushfire emergency and now we’re here to help Victorians recover. If you, or someone you know has been affected by the bushfires, we can help you care for your pets, horses and livestock on hobby farms. We can assist with things like:

  • Providing pet food and essential supplies
  • Providing fodder for horses and livestock on hobby farms
  • Providing water for animals
  • Subsidising necessary veterinary care for your animals
  • Other assistance you may require at this time

We know that animals are vitally important for people – especially at times like this – and we want to do everything we can to allow people to keep and care for their pets.

We’re concerned that people who are recovering after the bushfires now have the added stress of the COVID-19 outbreak.

In addition to helping individuals, RSPCA Victoria is working with other organisations on community projects and initiatives that help with the bushfire recovery and increase preparedness for future disasters.

Reach out to us if you or somebody you know needs a hand with their animals as they get back on track after the bushfires. Contact us by submitting the contact form online, or calling the RSPCA Victoria bushfire support line on 03 9224 2222.
