Low-cost desexing clinics


Residents of the Whittlesea, Darebin or Moreland council area can now purchase a subsidised, low-cost cat desexing voucher for $25 for males and $50 for females.

The cost of voucher includes the desexing procedure, an F3 vaccination and a microchip (where required).  

Low-cost cat desexing vouchers can be purchased online.

Once you have purchased your low-cost cat desexing voucher you will receive it via email. You can then book the procedure directly with one of the clinics listed below:

Note: Cats must be in good health and aged over 4 months of age at the time of desexing (1.6kg).

It’s equally important to desex both male and female cats. Not only will you be helping to reduce the number of homeless cats in your area, but research also shows that desexed cats are generally more friendly, less likely to roam, spray or fight and are better protected from certain diseases and illnesses.
