Community Outreach Education Programs provide FREE education sessions with a focus on accessible resources empowering participants to provide best care practices for their pets.
Incursions include RSPCA Victoria Educators visiting your school to deliver:
- a 45 minute to 1 hour session
- interactive, fun activities focused on animal welfare
- handouts for students and teachers
- the opportunity to bring a trained education dog
- education on the needs of animals, how to be the best pet parent, and how RSPCA Victoria helps your community
Sessions are tailored to diverse groups, ages, abilities and backgrounds, exploring a variety of curriculum-linked topics including animal welfare, empathy, and ethical decision-making.
Incursions are currently available to primary and high schools in the Greater Dandenong, Frankston, Casey and Cardinia council locations.
