Community Outreach Incursions

Community Outreach Education Programs provide FREE education sessions with a focus on accessible education resources to empower participants to provide best care practices for their pets.

Our free incursions are currently available to primary and high school students in the Greater Dandenong, Frankston, Casey and Cardinia council locations.

Incursions include 1-2 educators coming to your school to deliver a 45-minute to 1-hour education session for each school group on:

  • the needs of animals, how to be the best pet parent, and how the RSPCA helps their community
  • a short presentation
  • interactive, fun activities focused on animal welfare
  • handouts for students and teachers
  • the opportunity to have a trained education dog onsite to visit students
