  Adoption fees

Adoption fees help cover a small fraction of the cost of preparing RSPCA animals for new homes.

Each animal is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, health and behaviour checked to ensure it's ready to start a new and happy life.

Cats and dogs adoptions from RSPCA Animal Care Centres include a free bag of Royal Canin premium pet food per animal (Excluding seniors animals. Not in conjunction with any other offer. Excludes adoptions from Petbarn stores).

By adopting an RSPCA animal, you have the chance to turn around an animal's life.

Did you know the costs covered by the RSPCA to prepare our animals ready for adoption?

Here's a list to give you an idea:
  • Desexing (starts from $91)
  • Microchipping ($39)
  • Vaccinations (starts from $83)
  • Vet checks ($65)
  • Other health care costs that may include dental care ($250) and x-rays (up to $500)

By adopting from the RSPCA, you not only save on costs, you are also helping to end animal cruelty.

Any contribution great or small will help us ensure many more animals get the happy ending they deserve.

*Cat and kitten adoption fees via the Epping Animal Welfare Facility (EAWF) are currently reduced. Cats have been reduced to $50 and kittens has been reduced to $120.
