Do you love animals and want to learn more about them? Our holiday program offers animal lovers of all ages a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite creatures.

Fantastic Farm Animals


Come and have some fun at the farm! This is the perfect opportunity for young children aged 5 to 6 years to meet some well natured dogs, kind cats and friendly farm animals like Rachel the cow and Billy the goat! There will be plenty of animal interaction and barn yard inspired art and craft activities.

Dog Day


Dogs, Dogs, Dogs! Come and learn training techniques with our gorgeous education dogs.They'd love a brush too! Lots of facts to learn, animals to meet and dog themed activities, such as baking dog biscuits.

Please bring morning tea and a packed lunch.

Cat Day


Cats, Cats, Cats! If you love kittens and cats of all shapes and sizes, then the Cat Day session is for you. Come along and meet our Education cats Archie, Pingu and Humbug, and learn about how the RSPCA helps cats in our community.

RSPCA Day


Come and meet our gorgeous animals and find out all about what they need to be healthy and happy. Tour our shelter, meet an Inspector and make some animal treats to feed to our animals as well as lots of other fun animal related activities!

Horses and Ponies


Come and be involved in an exciting Horses and Ponies Session - for people who love ponies and horses. Come and groom Gus, our gorgeous Welsh Mountain Pony or meet Henry our thoroughbred. Find out about how the RSPCA helps horses, learn about caring for horses, make some equine inspired art and craft and much more horsey fun!

Inspector for a day


Are you interested in and inspired by the amazing work of the RSPCA Inspectors? Come along to our Inspector for a Day session and learn all about this challenging and rewarding role. Participate in crime scene investigation and evidence collection activities and learn about how the RSPCA works to help animals suffering from cruelty and neglect.

Please bring morning tea and a packed lunch.

Program information

      • Programs will commence at 9.30am and finish at 3.00pm sharp. Doors open 10 minutes prior to commencement/finish time.
      • Please provide your child with morning tea and a packed lunch (that does not require heating or cooking). Please note:  We strive to be a nut free environment.
      • All attendees receive a certificate of attendance.
      • Read the information on the and understand your child's responsibilities while attending the program.
      • Booking forms and payment must be submitted within five (5) days of phone booking for places to be held .
      • Bookings are non-refundable and numbers are limited.
