  Ban Live Export Rally

Information
Attend the Melbourne Rally
Take an active stand against animal cruelty by demanding the government ends the live export of Australian animals.

Further Information
The rally will happen on Saturday 6 October at 12pm on the steps of Parliament House, Spring Street, Melbourne. Please arrive 15 minutes early.

If you care about animals and want to see an end to cruelty, show your support at the Ban Live Export rally on Saturday 6 October 2012. Live animal export is the cruelest trade Australia has ever known, and despite the introduction of the Government's Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) animals continue to suffer immensly in importing countries.

It’s clear the government can not protect our animals once they leave Australian shores, and that as long as the live export of cattle and sheep continues, animals will suffer brutal and prolonged deaths.

This is your chance to join others at a family-friendly event, to demand the government put animal welfare first and end the live export of Australian animals overseas.

What will happen at the rally?

  • Hear from RSPCA Victoria President Dr Hugh Wirth and Animals Australia investigator Lyn White.
  • Get the latest updates from leading politicians and other inspiring speakers.
  • Join thousands of Australians who are taking a stance against the cruelest trade Australia has ever known.
