Hi there, my name is Chocolate and if you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an expression of interest form and a RSPCA staff member will contact you as soon as possible.
I am a very handsome TB gelding that is ready to find my new home. As my names suggests I am super sweet but can get a sugar high sometimes and do like to cause some mischief. Sometimes I even can open farm gates if I try hard enough!
When I was first brought to the RSPCA I was in a lot of pain. I had some trouble with my feet which was causing me severe lameness. After having x-rays it was decided that I needed to wear front shoes and my recovery has been slow but I am feeling great now. Although I recently have had my shoes taken off, I will likely need to have shoes on again especially during the drier months when the ground is harder.
I have raced but due to my ongoing feet sensitivity I am not sure whether I will be able to handle being in full work. However, if you are wanting to do light work with me, I will need some further training as I've had a break for a few years . I'm good to catch, rug, worm and vaccinate. I'm also good for the farrier and vet dentist.
So if you have a bit of a sweet tooth and think I'm the right horse for you, please fill in an expression of interest form for me!
I am desexed.
